Russia: Imports forecast at $308 billion in 2026

Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development estimates total imports at $308.7 billion in 2026, up from $305 billion in 2025, with a further increase to $322 billion expected in 2027.

A growing import market confirms the structural demand for foreign products and technologies. For Italian companies with an operational presence in CIS markets, this represents a favorable environment for consolidating existing trade relations.
